Five Months | Milestone Pictures

This month has definitely went the quickest so far. Mostly because we were on vacation for the first half of it! It was a month FULL of fun and a month I hope we never forget! As always, we are just so in love with our little Clyder and couldn’t imagine doing this life without him!

This month Clyde:

  • Has found his toes! He LOVES to hold his feet and play with his toes and it is the CUTEST. He hasn’t quite put them in his mouth yet, but I’m sure once he figures that out he’ll love that too! Haha
  • Has tried to roll from his back to his tummy so hard!! But he’s not quite there unless he has a little bit of help! He tries constantly!
  • Made it to size 2 diapers! Woot woot!
  • GIGGLES!! Up until now he has been having a silent laugh but he found his voice and we are obsessed! It is the sweetest little giggle you’ll ever hear.
  • Is in all 3-6 month clothes!
  • Flew in an airplane! 4 times actually. He did an AMAZING job too. Seriously just sat there and looked out the window, ate, or slept. Didn’t make a peep!
  • Swam for the first time! We tried to use his Otterroo, since he loves that for bath time, but he was not a fan of the cold pool water! Eventually he was okay to sit on my lap and ease into the water on the stairs but still definitely prefers the warm bath!
  • LOVES to play peek a boo! Seriously LOVES it and it is the cutest thing. He will giggle so much and not let you stop playing once you start!
  • Didn’t sleep through the night! Hahaha. This is new for him because he has ALWAYS slept through the night. At like 4.5 months, for about a week or so, he started waking up 1-2x’s a night to eat and then went right back to sleep. Sooo really, I can’t complain BUT it was definitely new for him!
  • Loves to stand up! Has no interest in sitting up but will stand right up if you hold his hands!
  • Loves playing airplane! This is usually a night time ritual with daddy and he sure loves it!

This month we:

  • Went to New York and Pittsburgh! I will blog about our trip eventually, but we went with my parents and siblings and had such a great time!
  • Saw Lion King! We all loved it! Especially Caden and our little Simba!
  • Went boating at Jordanelle Reservoir! The boat put Clyde right to sleep! Haha. I had fun tubing again since I couldn’t last summer (prego!)
  • Hosted a few bbq’s with our family and friends! We had a burger night, two brisket nights, and a pizza bar night! We love having people over and Caden is LOVING his Traeger!

Four Months | Milestone Pictures

For some reason four months old is feeling like a huge milestone! I’m sure I say it way too much, but he is growing way too quick!

This month has been so much fun! Clyde continues to get more and more personality every day! It has been so much fun to watch him learn something new every second and GROW!

This month Clyde:

  • Holds his own binky and can hold his toys!
  • Tried watermelon.. haha. Daddy couldn’t resist handing him a piece and he LOVED it.
  • Learned his name! Before this month he had no clue what his name was, but ever since his blessing day he has responded and it’s THE cutest thing.
  • Can roll from tummy to back quickly and consistently and loves doing so!
  • Babbles CONSTANTLY!! Seriously will talk to you for minutes at a time with what seems like no breaths in-between!
  • Loves to growl! Haha! It’s the cutest little sound. We’re obsessed!
  • Has started to get a little bit of chub! Still just so tiny but his extra skin is starting to fill out in his legs and back and his tummy is rounder than ever!
  • LOVES kisses, especially on the neck!
  • Loves to be tickled and has almost a silent laugh! That’s the best way I can describe it. Haha
  • Can’t keep his fist out of his mouth!
  • LOVESSSSSS this Youtube show called Harry and Larry! I found it in the car one day when I ran out of ideas to get him to stop screaming and he has been OBSESSED since. Anyone that knows him knows this is his thing… hahaha.
  • Is not a fan of his carseat (hence the rabbit show!) He does okay for a little bit but doesn’t love our new drive home!
  • He is his own #1 fan! Seriously.. anytime he sees himself or a picture of himself he goes crazy. It’s the cutest!
  • Transitioned out of his Dockatot! I thought that would be hard to do but he handled it so well and I’m so grateful! He still loves to use it around the house/while we’re out but I’m grateful we got his used to sleeping without it.

This month we:

  • Went to Lagoon! We left him with his “crazy aunt” for most of the day but he joined us for the evening and slept the entire time. Haha. Maybe next time he will at least go on the carousal!
  • Went to the Manti Pageant! We decided to go to this like an hour before we left so it was definitely an adventure! We went because it was the last year and it was a blast with our bffs. Clyde handled it like a champ and slept the entire 2 hour drive each way and most of the show!
  • Caden blessed Clyde! Read about that here!
  • Celebrated Caden’s first Father’s Day! We bought him a Traeger and Clyde made him a cute little handprint craft!
  • Celebrated the 4th of July! We love this holiday so much. America is the best! I made a pan of flag brownies, went to a bbq with my family, and another and fireworks with his!
  • Went to the drive in movies to see Toy Story 4! This was so perfect to do with a baby! He just got to watch and cuddle or sleep! It worked great!

Clyde’s Blessing Day | Baby Boy Blessing

    June 30, 2019

Clyde’s Blessing Day | Baby Boy Blessing

Sunday June 23rd 2019 was Baby Clyde’s Blessing Day! We had been looking forward to this day for what felt like so long. We decided to wait to bless him for a couple months for a few reasons. Originally, we just wanted him to be a couple months old, out of flu season, and maybe a little less likely to get sick from being around so many people at once. When we found our house in the end of April, we knew that it was a blessing that we had waited because now we would be able to bless him in our new ward, and in our new home!

Baby boy blessing outfits are sometimes hard to find! Lucky for me, my cute grandma offered to take my idea and make him the perfect outfit! I was so excited! Not only would he have the cutest blessing outfit ever, but it would be so special to be handmade by his great grandma, who also made my blessing dress when I was a baby. I absolutely loved the romper-like bottoms with the tiny bowtie! Clyde especially loved the suspenders and held them all day long! Here is a blessing outfit I found that is super similar if you are as obsessed as I am!

Clyde's Blessing Day | Baby Boy Blessing

    Baby Boy Blessing Breakfast

We have 9am church which is always a struggle to say the least. The morning of his blessing I let Clyde sleep in as per usual, which meant we were rushing to get out the door. We rolled in the meeting at 9:03 to see all of our family already settled in their seats. Haha!

9 am church meant that we would be serving breakfast for everyone who wanted to come over after the blessing at our church. We would be hosting 50+ people in our little place so we knew it would have to be something easy to eat, with little to no preparation, and budget friendly! So, we decided to go with donuts, muffins, assorted fruits, juice and milk!

We decided to go with Dunford cake donuts..because YUM! Both Caden and I are obsessed with their chocolate chocolate donuts and the old fashioned cake donuts were really good too! I don’t know about you but when I think of muffins.. Costco (which is our go-to for just about everything) is the first place to come to mind! Their muffins are perfect for a party because they’re big enough to cut in half so people can have a variety!

We also had donuts that said “SO BLESSED” that I absolutely loved! They were the easiest center piece display and SO cute. We got those from our local Jack’s Donuts and found these cute stands to display them!

It all turned out really great and was so easy and yummy!

We were so lucky to be surrounded with loved ones as Clyde received the sweetest blessing from his daddy! Some words that stuck out to me were: passion, light, patience, humor, joy, smile, obedience, and LOVE. My favorite part of his blessing was that he would continue to smile and share pure JOY with those around him throughout his life. ❤️ I have no doubt in my mind that he will continue to do just that. Our hearts are so full! We are truly blessed to have Clyde in our family!

    Happy Blessing Day Clyde. ❤️

    Three Months | Milestone Pictures

    June 12, 2019

Three months old?! Time is literally flying by. This month has been so much fun watching Clyde grow! He is so much fun and amazes us everyday with the things he does!

    This month Clyde:

    • Had his first giggle! He doesn’t laugh super often but when he does 😍 Even when he’s not full on giggling he does this tiny, quiet little laugh when we kiss his neck and it is to die for!
    • Went from finding his hands to ALWAYS having his hands/fingers in his mouth or really anything he can grab hold of!
    • Became mesmerized by his “squirrel” car seat toy and the mobile in his crib! He could stare at those for hours!
    • Loves to talk and really wants your full attention and eye contact as you listen! Haha
    • LOVES to look at himself in the mirror! Caden got me a new full length mirror for Mother’s Day and Clyde is OBSESSED and will sit there and look at himself all day.
    • Started to enjoy tummy time a bit more!
    • Rolled from tummy to back during tummy time!
    • Gets really jealous when we eat food in front of him and stares it up and down.

    This month we:

    • Took Clyde to the cabin for the first time! He loved hanging out with the family and mainly the little kids! I worried how we would be sleeping in an unfamiliar place but he’s a champ and still slept 8 hours through the night!
    • Went to Clyde’s first movie in theaters! For Caden and I’s 6 year dating anniversary we wanted to go see a movie and I thought he would do fine so we took him along and he did awesome! He either nursed, slept or just sat on my lap and watched the entire thing with only one peep when I woke him up. Haha
    • BOUGHT A HOUSE! Woo! This is something we have wanted for as long as we can remember and we’re super excited to finally be here! We are so excited to have a solid neighborhood for Clyde to grow up in the next couple years and to just be in a place we LOVE! I’ll definitely share more pics soon. (:

    A Picture Speaks 1000 Words

    May 30, 2019

The day these newborn pictures were taken I remember being SO stressed out. Clyde was only two weeks old so we had only had him home for a little over a week and I was so overwhelmed. Before, we had AMAZING nurses who helped us all so much and definitely lightened the load. Caden had been SO helpful, especially once we were home, and honestly took care of everything except feeding Clyde (which I felt like I was doing 24/7!!) I was hurting as I recovered and freaking out at the thought of Caden going back to work the next day. I felt so stressed and worried that I wouldn’t be able to “do it all” and stay afloat.

This photo shoot made me even more worried. It was our first time out of the house (besides a quick doctors appointment the day before) and Clyde fussed and cried MOST of the time and I just wanted to crawl in a hole and hide because I didn’t know what to do. Caden was much better at calming him down by rocking him and bouncing him—which I couldn’t do because of how tender my stomach and incision were. I was so grateful I had Caden to be there for him because in that moment I felt like a failure. I was this baby’s mother. Shouldn’t I be able to console him? I felt like I was doing everything wrong and felt so helpless.

When I got these photos back I was immediately in tears. As I sat and looked through each and every picture, I could physically see our bond, even when he was crying, and mostly just felt the LOVE I had for this boy and the love he had for me.

Right then I knew that everything was going to be okay. All I had to do was love him, keep trying and be patient with myself and I’d figure this whole mom thing out. This was a huge changing point for me!

    The past 10 weeks since then I have stayed home with Clyde without anyone else and I’m happy to say that we are alive and well. (;

Every day is a learning experience for sure but I have grown SO much and feel confident as a mama. There are still days where I feel like I have no idea what I’m doing or feel stressed by other people’s opinions of how I parent but I at the end of the day—I know I’m doing the best I can and I have a happy baby and that’s all that matters.

As time goes on I’m sure I will feel inadequate some days and empowered the next—but being Clyde’s mom has seriously changed my life. I look at him and I am flooded with emotion. I’m so grateful for him and his patience and love for me! Becoming his mom has been my greatest JOY!

If you are struggling in whatever stage of motherhood or LIFE you are in.. don’t give up!! I promise the challenges you face today will eventually pass and it’ll get better. I also promise that there are people around you (me) that will listen and help in any way they can. It truly takes a village! You are not alone!

    Two Months | Milestone Pictures

    May 16, 2019

Clyde is two months old!! It’s all going by so fast. I already feel like I blinked and missed all of his sweet newborn days. Haha. We’re soaking up the snuggles while they last and just loving every moment we have!

    This month Clyde:

    • Had his first shower with dad! He LOVES this and we love not having to fight him to take a bath.
    • Is slowly but surely getting bigger! He is still pretty tiny.. BUT he moved to size 1 diapers and 0-3 month clothing at the beginning of his second month!
    • Is such a smiler!! He LOVES to smile and seems to especially love girls. I’m in trouble already!
    • Loves to sleepy cuddle on our chests!
    • Has started cooing this month and LOVES to “talk!” He will sit and have full blown conversations and it’s our favorite!
    • Has been finding his hands and feet more and more as the days go on! He is so interested in them and loooovvvees to suck on his fist.. and really anything else he can get his hands on!
    • Loves to have your full attention! Especially from mom! He will start yapping at you as soon as you look away for too long! Haha. It’s pretty great. Especially because as soon as you turn back to him he flashes one of those smiles of his!

Here are some highlights from our month and his 2 month pictures! (:

    Newborn Pictures

    April 13, 2019

When Clyde was 2 weeks old we had some newborn pictures taken together as a family! Truly Photography did such an AMAZING job. Three years ago, Kayla took our engagements, bridals, and wedding photos and we are so in love with her work! We’ve become great friends and she is just the sweetest.

Our cute Clyde was not too sure about being behind the camera, but Kayla somehow managed to capture all of his cute faces and personality and we are just in love with how they turned out!

It’s been almost a month since we’ve taken them and he has already changed SO much. We will cherish these photos of tiny Clyde forever! ❤️

    Fresh 48

    April 4, 2019

Fresh 48 photos are pictures taken within the first 48 hours of your babies life, usually at the hospital.

Originally, I was planning on taking these myself… But with the way everything turned out, our photographer and videographer were both willing to come back two days after he was born (once everything was settled down) and take them for us. I was so grateful for this– especially because we could all be in them together, since Clyde wasn’t able to be documented with us on the day that he was born.

I love the way they turned out and I’m SO happy we were able to have these taken of him while we were there. Especially because babies change so quickly!! Here he was still very swollen from birth and had really bad jaundice as well.

But orange and all, we were totally smitten (still are) and will cherish these first memories together always! ❤️

    Birth Story

    April 3, 2019

    February 24th

Today was the day. It was our due date! I woke up practically screaming with excitement that the day had finally come! Caden and I went about our day like normal and just waited for some big moment to happen.. but it never did. That week we had done everything that everyone and their great aunt’s cousin’s neighbor did to induce labor (walked tons, ate lots of pineapple, curb walked, sex, walked even more, ate allll the spicy things, bounced like nobody’s business on a yoga ball for hours on end) … and nothing.

    https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/

    March 3rd

Today was induction day!! We had to wait until “between 8-10pm” to be called when a room was ready for us. So we spent the day packing all the last-minute things (which was WAY too much) I showered and got ready, we cleaned the house one last time and waited. I hadn’t heard anything by about 6:30pm so I called them and they said to be there by 7:30! We were THRILLED!! That hour went by so fast and before I knew it we were in the car, hospital bag(S) and car seat in the back and on our way to have our first baby. We listened to our fave Dan + Shay song and sang the whole way there. We were so ready.

    https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/

Once we got to labor and delivery, checked in and into our room, we took my last bump picture (and maybe a few selfies in the bathroom (;) and then met our Nurse Mindy. She got me my IV and all that jazz and started my induction by giving me a Cytotec to soften my cervix and cause me to start feeling contractions. Up to this point I was at a 1 and 80% effaced.

    https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/

The rest of the night was spent bonding with our nurse over the fact that the hospital didn’t allow sugary drinks, (diet coke is NOT like the real thing!) watching Wonder on Hulu, slow dancing, eating saltines and trying to get some sleep.. which we got about 2 hours of due to our excitement and the fact that I had to be checked/given another dose of the meds every 3 hours.

    https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/

    March 4th

My new nurse and doctor checked for progress and said I was still a 1 and threw me a bone and said maybe a 1+. I felt so defeated at that point. The next step was Pitocin. That started at 7:45am and they upped the dose every 30 minutes. I started to feel more contractions at this point but they were still tolerable and 2-3 minutes apart.

    https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/

I needed some comfort so my grandparents came and my grandpa and Caden gave me a blessing. Soon after at 10:30am my doctor came in to break my water! The actual breaking itself was uncomfortable and felt weird but literally seconds afterward was pure hell.

    https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/

My contractions immediately spiked and were a level 90 on the monitors and happening every 60 seconds. I felt so out of control of my body at this point and it was honestly terrible. I was so overwhelmed with pain and emotion! Caden helped me to the bathroom and as we were in there I told him that I definitely needed the epidural and he told me he had forgotten the safe word for when I actually needed it. Pretty sure he got the hint though with how much pain he saw me in. Suddenly my nurse runs in and starts hooking up my monitors again and as soon as she did the two charge nurses came running in. Before I knew it I was being tossed in bed and turned side to side. My baby’s heart rate was dangerously low and with each of those strong contractions seconds apart, it dropped lower and lower.

    https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/

They turned off Pitocin and everything seemed to get a little better. The anesthesiologist was in an emergency surgery but luckily there was another on duty so by 11:35 I was able to finally have an epidural. That immediately helped me feel much better (even though it only worked on one side) and by 12:40pm I finally got to a 3.5, then by 2pm I hit a 5.

    https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/

At 4:20pm they started me back on a low dose of Pitocin because I was stuck at 7cm. That took me to an 8.5 by 4:50 and I was at a 10 by 5:45! We were all SO excited when my nurse told me that I had made it to a 10! My doctor was now at a different hospital delivering a baby, so we called in another doctor (Dr. Black) so that I could start pushing.

    https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/

All of the adrenaline and excitement and pain and every emotion all caught up to me at this point because the end was finally in sight! I started to push at 5:52 and once I got the hang of it, I absolutely loved pushing. At this point my epidural had really worn off and I could feel each contraction. Although it was slightly painful, it was nothing like I had felt earlier in the day and I really enjoyed being able to feel when I should push each time! We continued pushing until 7 pm. At this point I knew things weren’t going as planned.

    https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/

Dr. Merrill (my doctor) was back at this point and him and Dr. Black were off to the side talking. I just remember seeing them talk and hearing the nurses whisper about if they should start getting “the room” ready. As I sat there shaking and crying even more so than I had previously, every fear possible flew through my mind. Was Clyde okay? Was I going to be okay? What was going to happen? Why isn’t my body working? What did I do wrong? Everything.

    https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/

My doctor tried to have me push one last time before he sat down and told me that for whatever reason my baby was not progressing down the birth canal and was not handling the contractions well enough to continue trying. He explained it as if Clyde was swimming for 2 minutes and then being held under water for 45 seconds repeatedly. He told me that a cesarean was the best option and asked me if I was okay with that. In that moment I broke down with fear and signed the consent forms. I knew that this was the best and only option for both of us.

    https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/

Seconds later Caden was handed a jump suit and a hair net, I had a hair net on, and we were being wheeled into the operating room.

    https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/

The operating room was probably the part I remember the most from the day. My Dr. started the Dan + Shay Spotify playlist for us, someone got me a warm blanket because I was shaking so bad, and they got started. Caden stood to my left and watched the entire thing.. which if you know him, you know that probably wasn’t a great idea. But no worries, spoiler alert– he did fine, until days later. Haha! I told Caden not to tell me what he was seeing unless I asked/until he saw our baby.

    https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/

    After what seemed like forever (31 minutes) Caden told me he could see Clyde and that he was doing great! I knew he was lying because everyone was quiet and there were no newborn screams. Seconds later, Clyde was over to the side at the little baby station surrounded by his team of doctors and nurses. Caden followed and stayed with him the rest of the time. After suctioning out his lungs, we FINALLY heard him cry! I had never felt more joy in my life than hearing that first cry. It was then that I immediately felt at peace and that everything was going to be okay. Everyone cheered with joy and told us we had a “red-head just like his dad!” We were shocked but I was so excited because I had always wanted a red head.. even though Caden is positive he’s actually blond. (;

    https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/

We then learned that the reason everything was happening the way it did throughout the day was because Clyde had his cord wrapped around his neck THREE times. If that wasn’t enough, he also had a “true knot” (knot in his cord) which is extremely rare. With this knot, it made it so that once my water was broken, the knot was getting pulled tight during each contraction and later he was essentially bungee jumping in the birth canal. That little man is such a fighter! After everything was no longer sterile, all of the nurses and doctors had their phones out taking pictures of his cord because they couldn’t believe it.

    https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/

Caden stayed with Clyde as they took care of him and got him cleaned up and weighed. I continued trying to see him from across the room and occasionally caught a glimpse of that red hair of his.

    https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/

After I was all stitched up, I returned to my original laboring room where our families were waiting. I was in much better spirits than they had last seen me in and was cracking jokes as I weaned off of the meds they put me on. Haha. It was there that I told them everything that had happened and was able to hold my camera and flip through all of the pictures that Caden and the cutest nurse had taken for us! This was the best moment because this was also the first time I was really able to see him and his adorable, swollen face and tiny features!

    https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/

Along with everything else, Clyde also had a lot of fluid in his lungs and because of that had some respiratory problems and had to be on a CPAP machine to help him breath.

    https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/

He was sent to the special care nursery where he had to stay overnight. Caden continued to stay with him and I was finally able to join them by midnight! We still couldn’t hold him or anything but sitting there as our new family of 3 is one of my greatest memories. Even with him being hooked up to a bunch of things that I had no idea about, I felt immense peace, happiness and even more love for him! I sat with Caden as he told me about how heartbreaking it had been to sit and watch him throughout the night and not be able to do anything, or how panicked, lonely and scared he had been. But as we sat together all of that went away and seriously our entire world was there in that room. NOTHING else mattered and we were the happiest (and most exhausted) we had ever been.

    https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/

    https://mckaylamadsen.com/birth-story/

Finally as the craziest, best, hardest, scariest, most joyful day of my life came to an end.. by 1:50am I was able to nurse him/hold him for the first time! What an amazing feeling. I didn’t stress at all about the fact that I had no idea what I was doing, or that I still couldn’t quite feel my legs, or that I hadn’t eaten anything in well over 24 hours.. it just felt perfect. He was so tiny and fragile and perfect and mine. I felt so in love and empowered. We were officially a family of 3 and we couldn’t be happier!

11 months have gone by way too quick. 🩷⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
This month she has a passion for food and not being alone. 😂 Loves to cheer her brother on at soccer saying “go go go!!” Has the cutest red hair that is growing like a weed! And has so much spunk and personality in that little body, it’s the sweetest. 💗 ⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣
Can’t believe she is almost 1!!
Our little preschool graduate. 🎓🎓 Clyde ha Our little preschool graduate. 🎓🎓

Clyde has absolutely LOVED his first year of preschool. He has made such cute friends, adores his teachers and is always eager to show us all of the things he brings home in his backpack! 😊 He has grown and learned so much and we’re constantly amazed with what he knows.

So proud of you sweet Clyde! You are so loved. ❤️
10 whole months with our Nor girl 🥹🥹 ⁣ ⁣ 10 whole months with our Nor girl 🥹🥹 ⁣

Nora is the sweetest, silliest girl. We love her kissy/pouty faces, her 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 for food, her tiny waves, and her little squints when she gets excited or nervous about something.😍 ⁣
⁣
She’s the chillest baby and we are so lucky to have her!
And can’t forget my handsome Clyde. 💗 And can’t forget my handsome Clyde. 💗

    My sweet Everett. 💗⁣ ⁣ He’s officially 2. My sweet Everett. 💗⁣
⁣
He’s officially 2.5. 🥲 So here’s some things I want to remember about him right now. ⁣
⁣
He is potty trained and did SO good with it. ⁣
⁣
He says the sweetest prayers that always start with “I love my mom” and it melts me.⁣
⁣
He loves to put on “tea time” for whoever is around or his little stuffie friends. ⁣
⁣
Tells me “Okay sir!!” with a salute more often that I’d like to admit. 🫡😂⁣
⁣
Is the sweetest brother and always checks on anyone who is sad. He loves “my Clyder Jameson” and “my Nor Nor” so much. ⁣
⁣
He is TOUGH and loves to “tussle” and dive head first off of the couch. 😅⁣
⁣
Is desperate to start school and loves going to “his school” at the library for story time. 🥹⁣
⁣
He is CONSTANTLY in character of one of his “friends” aka toy story characters or super heroes. ⁣
⁣
He’s talking up a storm and it’s so fun to get to hear all about what’s important to him, how he’s feeling, and all the details of life from his point of view. ⁣
⁣
I’ve never met someone so strong and so tender at the same time. He is the sweetest little boy who is growing up much too fast and I just love him so much. 💗
Started Easter off yesterday morning with our trad Started Easter off yesterday morning with our traditional resurrection rolls and video and loved having that teaching moment with the boys. 💗 Then, we dyed eggs together and had a fun Easter lunch with cousins! ⁣
⁣
Today, we had a little egg hunt at home, heard Clyder sing at church, and then spent the rest of the day with family having traditional meals and fun outside in the sunshine. ☀️ ⁣
⁣
No words can describe the happiness I feel knowing that because He lives again so can we. 💗 Happy Easter from our family to yours!
Happy Easter 💗 Happy Easter 💗
