One Month | Milestone Pictures
I can’t believe Everett is already one month old!! Time has FLOWN!! I can’t keep up.. haha. Everett is seriously the sweetest, calmest, happy baby! He is overall very content and is so patient with all the big hugs from his excited big brother! We can’t imagine not having him in our family, and love him so so much!
This month Everett:
- Eats super well! From seconds after he was born til now, he has been such a great eater! He eats about every 3 hours during the day and at most once per night!
- SLEEPS THROUGH THE NIGHT! Not sure what I did to get so lucky but he is another great sleeper! Heaven knows I need it. Everett sleeps anywhere from 6-12 hours straight, typically only waking once to eat and then going back to bed.
- Does NOT love binkies. I’m all about binkies especially for things like during car rides, shots/drs appts, bedtime, etc. We’ve tried a LOT of different brands and he has come around to Bib’s and will occasionally take the blue Soothie. It’s a fight to get it in his pour little mouth but once it’s in he likes it.. until it falls out seconds later.
- Loves to cuddle! He would lay on my chest all day everyday if he could! He’s the best snuggler!
- Is called: Ev, Evey, Little Ev, and “Baby”
- Also loves: his car seat, smiling, baths, staring at lights, touching his face, tummy time, being worn, being swaddled and spitting up (;
- Hates: his Mamaroo… and that’s about it. He is a really chill, happy baby!!
This month we:
- Adjusted to having two babies! It’s been crazy some days and normal others. Clyde LOVES to help in any way he can. His favorite is taking all of the diapers to the trash can! Like we’re talking if he sees a diaper on the ground.. he immediately picks it up and throws it away and will be upset if you do it for him. Haha. I’ve been so impressed with how well he has taken his big brother role! He sometimes has a hard time understanding that mom can’t “hep” right when he asks but is overall very, very patient with all of us and seriously LOVES his baby.
- Finished our Cornbelly’s season off with taking Ev at only a week old. He did amazing and slept the entire time in his sling! It’s our favorite tradition and it was so fun to enjoy it as a family of 4!
- Celebrated Halloween! Clyde is currently obsessed with “Toodles” (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse) so we decided to dress as Mickey, Minnie, Donald & Goofy! It turned out so cute and it was so much fun!! The first day I tried on my costume Clyde immediately knew I was “Mimi” and was SO excited. Holidays are my absolute favorite with kids!
